No account required. The Explore map is completely free and open to everyone. Browse camps, destinations, and creator tips without signing up. You only need an account when you want to start planning and saving your own trips.
You purchase credits upfront — $2.99 gets you 3 trip credits. Each time you create an itinerary from a YouTube video, one credit is used. Credits never expire, and you can buy more anytime you need them.
One credit is used each time you import a new itinerary from a YouTube travel vlog. You can then add unlimited locations to it, edit it freely, use the Trip Planner, and share it — all included. Adding map spots to your trip and using the planner are included with any credit purchase.
You can still browse the explore map and view all your existing trips. You just can't import new itineraries from YouTube until you top up. All your existing itineraries remain fully accessible — buy more credits whenever you need them, with no expiry.
